'Rome wasn't built in a day’

Action in small steps

Life can be overwelming, sometimes there is too much noise and chaos to understand how to even take action. We want to help you discover how to take small steps which will build up over time. Goals don’t have to be spectacular, but having something to aim for and something to improve gives you short term destination and a rudder to steer you there.

Self-acceptance.

Self-acceptance: This involves accepting yourself for who you are, including your strengths and weaknesses, and developing a positive self-image

Focus on what you have control over - You’re 46 years old, you can’t control a bag of cement, and you’re not going to get that call-up to play for your country at football.

Self-awareness

Self-awareness: This involves understanding your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours and how they impact yourself and others.

In its simplest form - Don’t be a complete dickhead.

Self-care.

Self-care: This involves taking care of your physical, emotional, and mental well-being through activities like exercise, healthy eating, and stress management.

Move more, read, sleep, talk to real people, lift heavy things and breathe in clean air. It’s not that hard.

Continuous learning.

Continuous learning: This involves actively seeking out new knowledge and skills, and being open to feedback and constructive criticism.

Stop scrolling through complete and utter shite and fire up your brain. Buy a book, buy a guitar, learn to cook something new.

Goal-setting.

Goal-setting: This involves identifying and working towards specific goals that align with your values and aspirations.

Don’t wait until New Year’s Eve to promise yourself that you're going to do something good. Do it today, make a plan, set a goal.

Resilience.

Resilience: This involves developing the ability to bounce back from setbacks and failures, and to cope with stress and adversity in a healthy and constructive way.

So if you fall off your bike, dust yourself off and get back on.
