Create a better future

An article offering practical advice on creating a brighter, more fulfilling future.

People often grumble about their lives for many reasons, they often present less joy than a man with one ear searching for a pair of sunglasses But what's the driving force behind this habitual griping?

"The best way to predict the future is to create it." — Peter Drucker

Comfort Zone - First, there's the 'Comfort Zone Cuddle.' People love the cosy embrace of their comfort zones, even if those zones are as cosy as sitting on a drawing pin. Changing requires effort, and effort can be more scary than a public toilet at night.

Lack Of Direction - Then, there's the 'Lack Of Direction' situation. Some people moan because they have no clue where they're headed. Their life GPS is rerouting more than a lost Uber driver.

Fear - Let's not forget the 'Fear of Flop Syndrome.' Fear of failure can be paralysing. Some people moan because they're terrified of trying new things, like ‘making‘ a Pot Noodle because you’re too scared to make a decent curry.

The Unknown - Lastly, 'Life's Unplanned Plot Twists.' Unexpected hurdles, like a sudden gust of wind when you’re wearing a wig, make people moan. But trust me, moaning won't change the weather (or grow your hair back).

Why change their lives? Well, because sitting in the complaint choir won't make life any funnier! Instead, seize the day, set clear goals, and dare to step out of their comfort zone. After all, creating a better future is like a movie you can write, direct and star in!"
